Prior to joining PMCS in September of 2005, Mr. Harmsen was the Principal Financial Officer of Rural/Metro Corporation, one of the largest publicly traded, private providers of emergency medical services in the United States, with operations in 26 states, over 10,000 employees, and $500 million in revenues. Mr. Harmsen has 28 years of diverse healthcare experience, having served as the Chief Financial Officer of several hospital systems including St. Luke’s Hospital in Davenport, Iowa, Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Carondelet Healthcare Corporation in Tucson, Arizona. Randy has also worked on the payer side of the business as CFO for Health Partners of Arizona and as Vice President of Network Management for United Healthcare of Arizona. Before entering the healthcare field Mr. Harmsen worked in public accounting for a regional firm in Iowa and gained his CPA certification.

As the Chief Financial Officer for PMCS, Randy has direct responsibility for financial reporting, general accounting, budgeting and treasury management. Mr. Harmsen received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Arizona State University.
