Preferred Medical Claim Solutions (PMCS) (www.pmcsonline.com) announced today that a three year contract has been executed with Government Employees Hospital Association, Inc. (GEHA) (www.geha.com). The contract follows an eight-month pilot program, which is standard practice for GEHA. Through the utilization of the automated PMCS Preferred Data Interchange (PDI), PMCS will now negotiate and advance fund GEHA's out-of-network medical claims utilizing the PMCS Advance Funded Provider (AFP) program. PDI was developed by PMCS and is compatible with numerous operating systems.
Paul F. Caliendo, President and CEO of PMCS states, "This business partnership has afforded a very valuable opportunity for both of our organizations. We are honored to announce that GEHA has elected to utilize PMCS' unique cost containment solution, and we are confident that our AFP program will reduce their loss-ratio and lessen their administrative burden." Caliendo went on to say "Gene Maloney, Vice President of Sales for PMCS and our entire team worked diligently over the past 18 months with GEHA to secure this business relationship."
According to Julie Browne, GEHA Vice President, "GEHA is pleased to begin this partnership with PMCS. After extensive review, including a pilot program and audit, we have found PMCS to be an excellent choice for service, technology and overall results."
